My Story

I have 20 years of marketing experience across the corporate sector, regional business and start-ups. My career began after university, having secured a place on the BT graduate recruitment programme. At BT, I had the opportunity to get the breadth of experience across several management roles allowing me to understand marketing from every different angle, giving me a sound understanding of all the ‘pieces of the jigsaw’ that make up the marketing function.

I have successfully established and led marketing functions at start-up businesses, developing the brand identity, crafting a strategic roadmap, and executing impactful campaigns to build strong brand presence and market leadership.

I’m deeply committed to building high-performing teams and pride myself on a leadership style that empowers others to unlock their full potential. My mantra in life is ‘work hard, play hard’ - working hard to be the best version of myself, while also having fun in the process - this is the work ethic I instil in others. I bring energy, enthusiasm, and a wealth of experience to every challenge, inspiring teams to deliver their best.

A bit about me outside of work

I live in Yorkshire with my husband, two children and my beloved Cavapoo, Buddy. In my younger years, I was a professional singer and pianist and am partial to finding my way to a microphone at social occasions! In my free time, I go to the gym, swim and play golf. I love socialising with friends and family, and my idea of total relaxation is being away on holiday in the sun with the family.
